Pemerintah Kabupaten Batu Bara menggelar Apel gabungan Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN), di Halaman Rumah Dinas Bupati, Kecamatan Sei Suka, pada Senin (14/02/2022). Sebagai Pembina Apel gabungan, Bupati Zahir mengingatkan pada seluruh elemen pemerintahan dan masyarakat, untuk ikut melancarkan program vaksinasi Booster demi mewaspadai penyebaran virus Covid-19, khususnya varian terbaru, yakni Omicron.
Kegiatan tersebut, diikuti oleh Asisten, dan para kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) Pemerintah Kabupaten Batu Bara.
Omicron yang merupakan virus varian terbaru Covid-19, diketahui penularannya cukup cepat dan membahayakan. Salah satu upaya dalam mencegah penularan virus Omicron, yaitu dengan vaksinasi. Pemkab Batu Bara telah siap melaksanakan vaksinasi tahap ketiga, yang bisa didapatkan warga enam bulan setelah menjalani vaksinasi tahap kedua. Kabupaten Batu Bara telah mencapai Vaksinasi tahap pertama di atas sembilan puluh lima persen (95%) dan vaksinasi tahap kedua mencapai hampir tujuh puluh persen (70%).
Bupati juga menyatakan, percepatan vaksinasi merupakan salah satu arahan Presiden. Percepatan program vaksinasi ini disediakan secara gratis oleh pemerintah, termasuk vaksinasi booster, terutama bagi mereka yang lansia. Tidak hanya itu, Bupati juga mengingatkan masyarakat untuk tetap disiplin dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan, terutama dalam menjalankan 3M. Mencuci tangan, Memakai masker dan Menjaga jarak.
Bupati Zahir selalu siap mendukung program vaksinasi nasional, terutama untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat Batu Bara.
