Memperingati Isra Mikraj Nabi Muhammad SAW 1443 H, Polda Sumut melalui Polres Batu Bara bersama Pemerintah Kabupaten Batu Bara, mengadakan vaksinasi serentak dan Bakti sosial di lapangan Singapore Land, Kecamatan Sei Balai, Kabupaten Batu Bara, Senin (28/02/2022).
Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Bupati Batu Bara, Ir. H. Zahir, M.AP, Kapolres Batu Bara AKBP Jose DC Fernandes, Perwakilan Dandim 0208 Asahan, Nazaruddin Panjaitan, Ketua DPRD, M.Syafi'i, serta Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Wahid Khusairi.
Perayaan Isra Mikraj bertemakan "Hikmah Isra Mikraj, memperkuat keimanan untuk peduli dan saling menjaga".
Selain merayakan Isra Mikraj, Pemkab Batu Bara bersama Polres Batu Bara, juga mengadakan vaksinasi serentak untuk para lansia.
Sebanyak 500 dosis vaksin disiapkan dalam vaksinasi serentak. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga diikuti oleh masyarakat umum yang ingin menyukseskan vaksinasi di Kabupaten Batu Bara.
Bupati Zahir bersama Kapolres Batu Bara AKBP Jose DC Fernandes, memberikan bantuan berupa beras kepada lansia yang mengikuti vaksinasi.
"kita bekerja sama dengan semua pihak, dari TNI, Polri dan para tokoh masyarakat bersama-sama menyukseskan vaksinasi yang ada di Kabupaten Batu Bara, karena keberhasilan ini bisa kita raih kalau kita melakukannya bersama-sama", ungkap Bupati Zahir.
Dalam kegiatan ini, Bupati Zahir turun langsung ke masyarakat dan menyapa warganya, termasuk untuk berfoto bersama warga.
Program percepatan vaksinasi, selalu di gaungkan Bupati Zahir sebagai program prioritas Pemerintah Kabupaten Batu Bara. Hal ini demi mewujudkan misinya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, kesehatan, dan spiritual masyarakat.
