Dinas Kesehatan PPKB Kabupaten Batu Bara melalui bidang Sumber Daya Kesehatan (SDK) dan Puskesmas se-Kabupaten Batu Bara melakukan sosialisasi Edaran Bupati No. 440/6920/2022 tentang Perubahan Surat Edaran Bupati Batu Bara No: 440/6803 tentang Kewaspadaan Dini dan Penyelidikan Epidemiologi Gangguan Ginjal Akut Progresif Atipikal (Atypical Progresive Acute Kidney Injury) pada Anak.
Bersamaan dengan itu juga dilakukan Pendataan Persediaan Obat Syrup yang tersedia di fasilitas kesehatan, terutama Apotek dan Toko Obat.
Petugas mengingatkan agar hanya menjual sediaan syrup yang sudah dinyatakan aman oleh BPOM RI dan Kementrian Kesehatan RI, serta Pemilik/Penanggung Jawab sarana Kesehatan agar mengedukasi masyarakat dalam hal penggunaan sediaan syrup.
